SPECIAL RADIO AWARD “13th ANTARCTIC ACTIVITY WEEK”
To commemorate the 13th International Antarctic Week a very Special Award will be issued to all radio amateurs worldwide who contact with a number of Special Event Stations that will be active on the HF bands.
The Special Diploma will be sent free of charge to all participants that fulfill the required number of contacts on each category.
The Special Event Stations for this Award are
AO3ANT, AO4HAG, AO5WAP, EG1PAA, EG5WAP, EH5WAP
DATES:
From 22nd (00.00Z) to 28th (23.59Z) February, 2016.
AWARDS
Diplomas will be awarded in three different categories depending on the number of special stations contacted by the applicant (or received in case of SWLs)
BRONZE DIPLOMA
For contacts with 2 different Special Event stations, whatever the mode or band used.
SILVER DIPLOMA
For contacts with 3 different Special Event stations, whatever the mode/band.
GOLD DIPLOMA
For contacts with 4 different Special Event stations, whatever the mode/band.
PLATINUM DIPLOMA
For contacts with ALL 5 different Special Event stations, whatever the mode/band.
APPLICATIONS:
Petitioners who qualify on each category may request by email their personalized Diploma to the Award Manager ea5fl@yahoo.com indicating their call and name as they want it to appear in the Diploma. There is no need to send the log, just callsign and name. Due date for Award requests is 15th of March 2016.
All Diplomas will be sent by email in PDF format free to all petitioners who qualify. It will be sent the Diploma of the highest category obtained by the petitioner.
