AT2DW – Bet Shankhodhar Island AS-175

A few members of the Thane Amateur Radio Association (TARA) and the Amateur Radio Society of India (ARSI) will be activating Bet Shankhodhar Island a.k.a Bet Dwarka in the Gulf of Kutch between the 16th and 23rd of March, 2012.This island falls under the Gujarat State Group listed under AS-175 in the RSGB IOTA directory. It has never been activated before and plans are to offer hams worldwide a chance to make contact on at least one band with this island group. They will have two stations on air operating from 80 through 10 meters.
